Choose to be a golden vessel
"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also [utensils] of wood and earthenware, and some for honorable and noble [use] and some for menial and ignoble [use]." (2 Timothy 2:20 AMP) In every household, there are items or instruments that are considered to be special, hence they are handled and used specially. For example, some things are only used on special days or to entertain a special guest. There are also items that are just seen as normal or regular. Such items are neither treated with special care nor used for special purposes. It is interesting to know that the same thing applies in the great household of God. Everyone who is born-again is a vessel in God's household-- a vessel with which God wants to fulfill His agenda on earth.
